Business Startup and Funding Symposium:

A dynamic symposium aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs within the UK churches and charities community. This session will provide invaluable insights into the process of starting a business, including ideation, market research, business planning, and funding strategies. Expert speakers and panel discussions will offer practical advice, success stories, and resources to empower participants to turn their business ideas into reality.

Career Clinic and  Workshops:

Interactive workshops designed to enhance participants' career development and job readiness skills. These workshops will be conducted by experienced career coaches and industry professionals, offering practical guidance and actionable insights.

Curriculum Vitae Review Clinic Series:

Personalized consultations focused on optimizing participants' resumes or CVs to effectively showcase their skills, experiences, and accomplishments. During these one-on-one sessions, experienced CV advisors will provide tailored feedback, suggestions for improvement, and strategies for crafting a compelling CV that stands out to employers.

Benefits: Participants will receive individualized guidance to strengthen their CVs, increase their chances of securing interviews, and ultimately land their desired job roles or career opportunities.

Mentorship and Work Experience:

A mentorship and work experience program designed to provide participants with valuable guidance, support, and practical experience in their chosen field. Participants will be matched with experienced mentors who will offer personalized advice, career insights, and networking opportunities. Additionally, participants may have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience through internships, shadowing opportunities, or project-based assignments with partner organizations.

UK Work Environment Integration Workshops:

Informational sessions aimed at supporting newcomers to the workplace within the UK, in navigating various aspects of integration into British society and the job market. Topics will include understanding UK culture and values, workplace norms and etiquette, legal requirements for employment, access to social services, and community resources available for newcomers.
